Daniel ERIC Griffin

Daniel Eric Griffin, age 50, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Hiram, Georgia. Born on May 3, 1974, in Dallas, Georgia, Daniel-known to many as Eric-lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and a deep spiritual devotion.

Eric graduated with honors from Paulding County High School, where his intelligence and vibrant personality left a lasting impression. After high school, he embarked on a career as a land surveyor, working with several local companies for over fifteen years. His professional journey later included various roles in food service and other jobs that reflected his adaptable spirit and strong work ethic.

From an early age, Eric was known for his outgoing nature and joyful presence. He was deeply loved by those who knew him and remembered as someone who brought light into every room he entered. Described as smart, considerate, tender-hearted, and fun to be around, Eric had a magnetic charm that drew people to him. In his youth, he found joy in skateboarding and bicycling-activities that matched his free-spirited nature.

Eric held a lifelong relationship with the Lord and was a devoted member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. His knowledge of the Bible was profound-so much so that it was often said he knew it better than some preachers. His faith was not only a cornerstone of his life but also a source of strength and guidance for those around him.

He was the first grandchild on both sides of his family-a role he embraced with pride and affection. He was cherished not only by his family but also by countless friends who admired his kind heart and infectious joy. A handsome young man in his day, Eric never lacked admirers; many remember how girls were always asking about him or hoping for a date.

He will always be remembered for his fun and out going personality and his humorous nature.and the loving ways he cared for everyone around him always so polite and eager to help anyone in anyway he could.SOoo very smart, you could ask him any question and he'd immediately know the answer and begin to tell any and everything about the subject,not in a "know it all way",but just a "glad to be helpful" Informative way.

He always introduced himself with a firm handshake and looked at you with his infectious ,beautiful smile and gorgeous sky blue eyes.always soo out going ,"hardly ever met a stranger",as they say..

He will be soo greatly missed by everyone ...

May he live on forever in the joyous memories of both family and friends...

Eric is survived by his two loving sisters:

Ms. Serra Claire Griffin of Dallas, Georgia, age 48; and

Hillary Ann Clayton of Temple, Georgia, age 37. He also leaves behind two nephews,his sister Hillary's sons:

Mr. William Merritt and

Mr. Benjamin Hollis.

He was preceded in death by many beloved family members: his Grandfather-

Mrs. Juanice Towns Miller (11/15/2005), Grandfather-

Eric's passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved him Soo deeply. He will be remembered not only for the joy he brought into the lives of others but also for the unwavering love he gave so freely.
