Dan and I are cousins. Many years ago when he was eight or nine and I was sixteen or seventeen we had a verbal bet, I said I could learn all of the U.S Presidents before he could. He said he could learn them before me. The bet was on. We both learned all of them. I don't remember which of us learned them first-to win the bet. Probably Dan-he was a smart little boy.
Your cousin,
Bobetta

Dan and I were cousins. We were very close growing up. I would stay at his house and he would stay at mine.We loved to go to our grandparents farm. Sending my deepest sympathy to Joanne and her family, and all the Grinage family members.
Sending prayers of comfort, Dick and Sue Ann Coffinger

Every now and then, one hears about a friend's passing and it hits like a kick in the gut. Such was the case for me when I heard that Dan Grinage had died. Ironically, it was at a retiree breakfast for a group of retired Kzoo Letter Carriers that I got the word. Dan Grinage and I worked together for years at the old "Court Station" P.O. downtown Kzoo. We became good friends and he invited me to his place in Plainwell to allow me to cut firewood many times. A good man and a life well lived, Dan will always be remembered as a quiet man who did his job well and was respected by all who knew him. I believe that Dan is in God's Loving Care for all eternity now. Dan you will be missed by many friends and family for a long time.

I was blessed to meet Dan Many years ago as a client. Who became a friend. He was an amazing man. My heart goes out to his friends and family. Especially his wife Joanne.
I know he´s mounted on a good horse in beautiful county. Checking a herd of fat cattle with his dog by his side.
It´s been a pleasure to have known you.
