Daniel Hedger Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 4, 2025.
Daniel "Dan" Jason Hedger, 54, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Blaine, Minnesota.

Born on May 26, 1970, in Minnesota, Dan built a life centered around hard work, family, and an unwavering willingness to help others. He dedicated his career to the machining industry, first as a CNC machine specialist and later as a quality inspector leading his own department. His extensive experience and dedication to his craft made him a respected figure in his field.

Beyond his professional life, Dan was a man who thrived in his garage, always working on something. Whether it was fixing up cars or restoring motorcycles, he had an innate ability to repair and improve anything that came his way. He preferred rolling up his sleeves and tackling projects himself rather than calling for help-an approach that reflected both his skill and self-reliance.

Dan's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He deeply loved his children and cherished every moment with them. His generosity knew no bounds; he was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Dependable and kind-hearted, he was always there when someone needed a helping hand-whether they were family or friends or even a stranger. His presence brought comfort to those around him, and his willingness to assist others left a lasting impact on many lives.

Dan is survived by his sons, Jason Hedger and Christopher Adkisson-Hedger; his parents, Harold and Sandra Hedger; his sister, Kris Hedger Hanson; and his brother, David Hedger.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May the legacy of his kindness and dedication bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Dan´s passing. He was truly one of the kindest people I´ve ever known. His constant willingness to help others and his gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Dan had a way of making people feel seen, heard, and cared for-his kindness was genuine and abundant. The world was better with him in it, and his loss is deeply felt.

I´m so very sorry. Such good memories as young cousins at Grandma Hedger´s.

I haven´t seen Dan in a number of years, but my memories of him are of someone who was thoughtful, caring, and full of laughter. I have no doubt he is deeply missed.

I worked with Dan for a short time at Viking Engineering. He quickly became a trusted friend. Hard working, smart, and a keen eye for detail. Saddened to hear this news. Gone way too soon. Rest peacefully my friend.

I´m so sorry and was completely shocked to hear of his sudden passing. I got to know him fairly well while he was at Viking. We shared an office together. He was always willing to toss me a rice crispy bar from his giant drawers of sweets when I was having a bad day. To his kids- he must have loved you dearly because he would talk of you often. His kid and his dogs. He will be missed
