Daniel Hulsizer Obituary
He was born May 20, 1915, in Milton, a son of the late Daniel and Clara (Reedy) Hulsizer. He was preceded in death in September by his wife, the former Sarah Flanagan.
In 1977, he retired from KVS after a number of years, and he was a farmer most of his life. Dan was a member of the Friendship Fire Company, Danville.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Conna Rose and Earl Ogden and Susan and Darryl Sassani, all of Danville; one son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Margaret Hulsizer of Lightstreet; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Grace Houseknecht of Riverside.
He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Wayne Hulsizer; one daughter, Sherry Lee Hulsizer; one great-granddaughter, Margaret Grace Hulsizer; three brothers, John, Floyd and Ralph Hulsizer; and two sisters, Mary Hack and Thelma Kerstetter.
Friends may visit with the family from noon to 1 today at the Brady Funeral Home Inc., 320 Church St., Danville, where the funeral will be conducted at 1 with the Rev. Dennis Derr, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
