I knew Dan when I worked at SLHA in Ogdensburg, NY. We talked on the phone regularly. He was one in a million. Kind, compassionate and such a sense of humor. He will be missed by so many. Deepest sympathy and prayers to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Dan was my therapist.. a bright light and faithful brother. I was thinking of him over the past month, wondering how he was. Loved him. I listened to many a story about his family in MY session (lol) How he loved his family. My sincere condolences, may you find comfort and joy in the many memories of him. I will attend Tuesday´s mass . So pleased to have known him, Cheri Furnace

I knew Dan in a variety of ways... mostly through shared work in mental health services. His daughter Christine was in my son Hollis's high school class, and he coached Hollis in speech and debate. Once in a while I had to go to the ER and he was there, too. I truly believe that there are saints on earth, and St. Dan was definitely one of them. Everywhere you looked, he was there helping somebody out. To Dan's family, I'm so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful person.

It was a privilege growing up in Potsdam living next door to Dan and his family. Our parents were close friends and although Dan and I were several years apart in age, it was clear that he was an especially gifted and compassionate person. My condolences to Dan's family and all those who knew him.

Dan was influential in my daughter´s life as her speech and Debate coach and her mock trial coach. Ironically her first trial and opening arguments will be tomorrow (7/7) as she argues the governments case for the Department of Justice. Thank you Dan and God speed.
