Daniel Katz Obituary
Daniel A. Katz, 85, of Brookfield, husband of Ilene (Strauss) Katz, father of Morris Katz (wife Sandy) and Iris Katz (husband Jack Schatz), brother of Joseph "David" Katz and Marion Katz Mandell, and grandfather of Marisa Katz (fiancee Jona Jenkins), Stephanie Katz and Zachary Katz, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Zark and Edna Katz, and by his siblings Morris Katz, Edward Katz, and Ruth Katz Baruch.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 11 a.m. in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury. Interment will follow in the United Jewish Center Cemetery, Brookfield. Family and Friends will be received in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 5 PM to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the New Milford Animal Shelter, 8 Dodd Rd., New Milford, CT 06776 would be greatly appreciated.
