Daniel Leonard

Mr. Leonard always headed up the Christmas caroling in Winnetka on Greenwood Ave. We lived across the street from the Leonard´s. He would get his wagon be roasting chestnuts while we were caroling! Such a wonderful memory from my childhood!
He will be missed. A wonderful man.

I met Dan and Betty when we moved from Charlotte NC to Milford . He was always so pleasant, welcoming my family to Church of Our Saviour. They were a great couple. Although I lost contact with them, my memories of them will always leave a smile on my face. Rest in peace Dan

We had long talks about anything! Over morning coffee - or evening cocktails - Dan was best listener - with comments, quips and wise observations - always with soft edges - and kind - never cutting. At breakfasts he could finish a poem or a song - or come up with an even better one. He loved the old songs!
