Daniel Stephen "Danny" Macho

I knew Dan from when we were teenagers in Columbia Heights. I remember the day I met him. My friend and I were at the Heights theatre and Dan his friend Don were sitting behind us and started throwing popcorn at us. That is how we met and was the beginning of some very good memorable times. RIP Dan.

Dan,I am glad I was able to see and talk to you while you were in the nursing home. Who would have thought you would be in Starbuck. You are in a better place and rest in peace. We will miss you. Say Hi to our loved ones in HEAVEN.

Danny, my precious son. I will miss you always. Iknow you are with Jesus and Dad and your sister Diane. That gives me comfort. Your family and friends will miss you so much. I love you, my Danny boy.

I was lucky enough to have had Danny as my Uncle. I spend quite a bit of time with him in the weeks before his passing. He had a wonderful heart and was a free spirit. I will miss you dearly, and am glad i had the opportunity to get to know you again.

I still can't believe this is real. I am so grateful that I was able to spend those last two months with you!! I I miss you sooo much! I miss you calling out my name,when you were scared and unsure of what was happening. I thank GOD for every day with you. I am so happy that I was able to hold your hand as you took your last breaths. I know that you made your peace with GOD before you left this earth. That is the only thing that matters. It is "us" that are left behind that are now suffering the grief of loosing you. . You are in a far better place!! Thank you for being my little brother . I will see you again some day. Some of the best times I had as a teenager were spent hanging around with Dan in Columbia Heights. I have not seen him in many years but think of him often. rest in peace my friend.

Dan, I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I have known your Mother and other family members as well as freinds for several years. We met while she, your Mom, wintered in Arizona and she had those family members and freinds visit. I hope you are at Peace. Thomas J Valentine

I arm wrestled Danny in 6th grade, He kicked my butt!, We used to play pinball at the arcade in Bowlero in Columbia Heights back in the early 70's!, He was my neighbor and friend, Rest in peace Danny.
