Daniel Macik

Daniel George Macik, age 71, of Medina, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020. He was the husband to JoAnn Macik (nee Malinowski) who passed away in July 2019. They shared 41 years of marriage together. Born in Parma, Ohio, he was the son of George and Mary (nee Boring) Macik, both deceased, and brother to Barbara Ish-Stanca of Medina and Carol Sheetz (Ronald) of Hinckley. He was a beloved stepfather, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Dan was a Parma High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. He was a lifetime member of the Medina, Ohio V.F.W. Post 5137, and served in various capacities, the last being Senior Vice Commander. Cremation by Busch Crematory. Private inurnment with U.S. Navy and V.F.W. honors will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 2:30pm the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
