Daniel McKinney V Obituary
Danny was a talented videographer who pursued his passion for story-telling through photography, starting in middle school. He worked at numerous television stations across the country as an anchor, reporter, editor, and videographer. He won several student Emmy awards during high school for his digital story-telling and was recognized professionally with Emmy nominations for his work in the news business.
Despite his passion and talents, Danny faced challenges with mental illness that unfortunately derailed his potential. Those who loved him, and those who knew him, saw his goodness and passion shine through.
Danny is lovingly remembered by his parents Mary D. and Daniel H. McKinney IV, his brother, Connor H. McKinney and his wife Stacy C. Sahagian, his grandmother, Judith S. McKinney (Nanny), and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elaine F. Dunn (Hummy), and grandfathers, Ralph C. Dunn (Pawpaw) and Daniel H. McKinney III (Bop Bop).
In honoring his memory, a private burial service will be held for the immediate family at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. Danny now has eternal peace.
