Aidan Convery
March 23, 2024
I recall Daniel as employed by my father Leo Convery in the mid1950s, when I was only 3; he was dark-haired, originally from Gleneally?/ Co. Donegal. Daniel rang our home at the time of my father's death in late 2001. I can actually vividly recall Daniel letting me take a paint brush with which he was painting the back door of my father's workshop-shed green, then, his hand folded around mine, letting me believe I was painting. Daniel was with my father at the demolition of Torrens "Big House". My father told me they both plunged into a deep stretch of the Moyola after the day's work as they were covered in dust. grime & soot. Daniel was popular in Ballinascreen.

Hello Raymond,
I can not find your email address, so using this guest book as a way to send sincere condolences on the death of your father from Danny and I. I am certain you are either in Ireland now or on your way, but hopefully you will see this on your return and know that two friends were thinking of you and will be in the days to come. Again, our sympathies to you and your family, both here in Ottawa and in Omagh.
