Jeannine, David, Dale and family:
I was so sorry to learn, from Karl, that Danny had passed away last year! I always liked his wit and sense of humor. He was a funny guy! I remember LeRoy and the boys tossing the football around on 74th. That was always entertaining! I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and wishing you peace and comfort in the time to come. With sincere sympathy,

It seems like just yesterday we were both working in Fargo at the Military Processing Station. You were suppose to be the grizzled Marine SGT putting the recruits through their push ups and pulls ups prior to shipping them to basic. After getting to know you I knew you were different then that. Bright, funny and always there to help (If the Marines could help the Air Force) ! Our time spent at work, talking current events, history of the Marine Corps, applicant issues was always encouraging and kept me going when the days got long. That spilled over to our private lives, being able to spend time with you and Julie and my wife Vicki Rae in Fargo/Moorhead was some of our best memories we have experienced. Although we lost touch with you, we have never forgotten your friendship and the time we spent together. Time has a funny way of doing that, we get new assignments, new career opportunities and before you know it one is retired and moving on. I'm just glad I was able to serve with you, and our families able to spend the time together we did. Those memories will be in our hearts until we meet again. Isaiah 40:31

Oh, sweet Dan. You were a dear friend to our family since we dated in high school, all those years ago.
It was fun to reconnect with you through my sister, a few years ago. You always made me laugh, even though we didn't always agree on politics or beer. You were always thoughtful and funny and made people feel special.
You fought for our freedom, and will be dearly missed. I wish you peace at last.
Love,
your friend and high school sweetheart
Bonnie
