Daniel George Puig, 78, of Tampa, FL, passed away on July 4, 2023. He was born on March 29, 1945. Daniel was an amazing husband, full of life, and loved to travel in the RV with his wife and chihuahuas. His five children, seven grandsons, and one granddaughter were his top priority. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph Henry Puig, Jr., as well as seven grandsons and one granddaughter. Daniel attended Jefferson High School and later pursued higher education at the University of South Florida. He served in the Army National Guard from 1965 to 1971 as part of Company A 53rd Support Battalion.

After his military service, Daniel had a fulfilling career as the supervisor of Plant Operations at Hillsborough Community College. He retired from this position.

Danny, it´s been 2 months & 7 days since you left me. Some people think I should be able to move on by now but I just can´t. I feel like a zombie. My body moves, household chores still get done, bills are paid, and meals are cooked but I feel so empty.
I don´t care what anyone says, I´ll never stop missing you and yes I will still cry when it hits me that you aren´t coming back.
Love doesn´t die just because you did. I want to believe that you are with your parents now and when my time comes, you will be waiting for me.

Oh Danny, I miss you so much. We only had 46 years together and it just wasn´t enough. You always promised that you would be with me forever and I know you tried so hard to beat the cancer and all the awful things that went with it. I miss your hugs. You always knew when I was sad or hurting and you would wrap your arms around me and say "it´ll be okay." I need one of those hugs now so very much.
We are supposed to have a hurricane this week. It will be my first without you. You always knew what to do during storms but I am learning.
i will always love you Poo Poo Bear
