What an amazing spirit and inspirational person Danny was. Without fail, he had a joke to share, a smile to soothe and a hug to give. I am honored to have known him and to be able to say he was my friend. I looked up to Danny, who always seemed to make one realize there is happiness with every blink of an eye, no matter what. He touched my life with a unique richness that I will forever carry deep in my heart. I'll always strive to touch the lives around me in the ways Danny did in his, because we all know the world was such a brighter place in his presence. Thanks for all of the "hugs" Danny and we'll always have our 2020! Take care of our LB!

I kept in contact with Danny via the internet(our common love for Laura Branigan) a few years ago and had lost touch since.
I couldn't believe it when I read of his passing. He was truly a special guy. Some of his posts cracked me up and I could just imagine what kind of person he was to be around with.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Danny was one of the very few people out there who we feel like us completely "got" Laura Branigan. Danny was a breath of fresh air - he was not just supportive of Laura but extended that support to all of her fellow fans (and probably to everybody else out there). That quality is going to be very sadly missed. A genuinely nice guy.

We just found out about Danny's
passing . We took care of Danny
at the Somerville Hospital TCU and
feel he was an inspiration for all of
us. We loved hearing his stories and
marvelled at his sense of humor and
his courage. May he rest in peace.

Danny is one of those special souls who serve as an inspiration to others. Although he had so many challenges in his life, he did not dwell on them. Instead he met life with an open heart and a hopeful gaze, a sense of humor, a deeply rooted loyalty and a profound appreciation for those things in his life that were rewarding to him, and those people in his life who made it a little brighter. While I never met them, his stories of his dear departed mother, his father and stepmother, and his cherished family friend Loretta, made me feel better about the world, knowing they were there for Danny. I want to thank them, and the people at Tower Records who gave him a job which meant more to him than they could know. God bless his bowling teams and his church group and his family and everyplace and everyone that made him realize that he mattered, and that he belonged.

It breaks my heart that I never took you up on your offer to show me around Boston, Danny, and that your church group didn't make it back here on a trip. But the times we did spend together and the countless posts, PMs, and e-mails, are only pieces of a friendship that will never leave my heart. I will forever feel honored to have been your friend for these brief few years, that God saw fit for our paths to cross and for us to walk beside each other awhile. I hope you forgive me that these last three months we were out of touch, and I hope you didn't feel like I had forgotten about you, or loved you any less. I never did that. And I never will.

Forever Young you live and breathe in the Spirit of Love: we'll always have 2005, 2006, and 2020. The waiting finally ended, and I know your reward is beyond anything you could ever have dreamed. 'Cause your time has come! While for us it is a sad goodbye, for you it is the sweet hello; no shadows now, only light...and never alone. Do they get internet radio up there? (Gosh, I hope not!) If so, listen this coming Friday. And then... Go on, and fly. God bless you, man. And "Tons of Hugs"! Now and always, your brother, "P.J.", J T

People often talk of the ideal of overcoming hardships with grace and being stronger for it. My cousin Danny did this in truth, day after day, his entire life. He was and is the strongest and most beautiful soul I have ever known. Uncle Doug, Doreen, and to all of my family~ my sympathy and prayers go to you, for I know how loved he was. To all of Danny's friends and those who loved him~ thank you for recognizing what a wonderful person my cousin was, and for making his life better and brighter. Danny spoke of his friends often, and cared about them very much. Danny was and will continue to be an inspiration to all who were blessed to know him.
