Daniel Joseph Rajski

Daniel J "Danny" Rajski age 76 of Carmel, died February 12, 2009. Danny was born May 25, 1932 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Emily Rajski. He received his Bachelor s Degree from the University of Illinois where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. After his graduation from college he served as an officer in the United States Army. Danny s career was spent in various capacities in the corrugated box industry, retiring from Stone Container Corporation as the General Manager. Following his retirement Danny began an unexpected second career with the Internal Revenue Service, where he was a dedicated customer service representative. He was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church, and an avid sports and firearms enthusiast. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce (Wilson) Rajski; daughter, Julia Rajski; sister-in-law, Jacqueline (husband William) Jordan; niece, Kimberly (husband David) Greig; nephew, Bill Jordan; cousin, Marciann (husband Patrick) Kosnick, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center â€" Carmel, where funeral fervices will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2009. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
