We think of Dan frequently and miss him. Dan, we miss your intellect, quietness and satire. We are so grateful for your friendship and company Saturday mornings.

Just heard from some folks at the Coffee Exchange that Dan passed away. Although, I didn't know him all that well, we did chat once in awhile about his photography when I would see him at Tim Hortons on Malden Rd and at the Coffee Exchange. Always enjoyed saying hi to him.

To Dan's Family,
I went to high school with Dan. I only learned of his passing when reading "The Grapevine" and I found myself quite distraught. I remember Dan being a kind, thoughtful young man who was very passionate about photography and capturing the beauty in the world around him.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I am very sorry for your loss Dan was a true gentlemen.

I am very sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I first met Dan at Hebert Studio in the mid 1980's. We spoke many times over the years as our paths crossed at Wansbrough Camera, Sunparlor Camera, Turek Camera and Skylab. Dan was a gentleman and an outstanding photographer; he will be missed.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dan from grade school where I got to initially learn about his wonderful character. Dan's pictures have graced my house and continue to be a treasure for my family. His deep spiritual belief and passion for photograph was an inspiration for all. Dan's presence on this earth will be deeply missed by all.

I was saddened to hear of Dan's passing. We met when he was photographing new schools for the board of education - he was the 'go-to' person for many local architects and builders who wanted perfect images of their new buildings. Dan was the consummate professional photographer - taking as much time as necessary to get lighting, composition - everything perfect. We would meet for coffee periodically in the years that followed and he would bring me up-to-date on his newest projects. It was such a pleasure getting to know Dan. He will be missed by his family and by his many friends.

A Prayer for the Deceased Daniel Reaume,
O God, our Lord, our Eternal King, our Everlasting Father and the Most Merciful Judge of all give rest to the soul of Your servant Daniel Reaumet, who has fallen asleep in Your Kingdom, where there is no pain, sorrow or suffering. In Your goodness and love for all men, pardon all the sins he has committed in thought, words, deeds and/or in what he has failed to do, "for there is no man or woman who lives and sins not (...) for nothing is impossible to God." (Gospel, Lk 1:37-38) Most faithful God, lively is the courage of those who hope in You. Your servant Daniel Reaume placed his trust in Your mercy. Confident that the petition of those who mourn pierces the clouds and finds an answer, we beg You, give rest to the Late Daniel Reaume. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Dan who was an awesome reader at St. Alphonsus and whose presence and kind and gentle nature will be missed. May he rest in peace. God keep you in the palm of His Hand and let His perpetual light shine upon you Dan.

I have known Dan for over 50 years. We attended St Clare Grade School, altar boys at St Clare Parish and attended Assumption High School together. I had coffee with Dan every time I returned home to Windsor. We just had coffee together this past January at Donna Mae's. He was more than a great talent and a gentleman. He lived in his Roman Catholic Faith. He is with his Dad and sister now, with God. I will miss him for those coffees and getting caught up on all the people we know. I am so sad about his sudden passing but he is in a much better place. I will have a Mass said in his name here in Vancouver. My Deepest Sympathy to his Mother and all of his family. Love David DuPerron

I recall him - always smiling and helpful, an artistic photographer, an energetic athlete to becoming the noble gentleman we had the pleasure to know. Dan was a very good photographer with a creative eye and technical skill. We worked together on many projects over the years and the end result was always great. Assumption Purple Raiders will remember Dan as the guy with a camera slung around his neck everyday. Naturally everyone made a point to know Dan so they could get their photograph in the school yearbook. Dan's sister Carole was also a great person and we attended our graduation prom together. They will be missed.
