Daniel Rivers

To May, Harmony, and Star--this was very sad and unexpected news. I am very very sorry for your loss.

Daniel was one of the first people I met at EC, where he and I shared many wonderful memories. After living abroad for so many years, he helped me get back on my feet in San Diego. We lived close to each other, carpooled to work and watched our children grow up in the same apartment complex. I'll never forget his passion and love for life. It is safe to say that he has impacted the lives of so many people all over the world. May he rest in peace. See you on the other side my friend. May - you and the girls will always have friends here in San Diego and at EC.

My heart breaks hearing this news. Daniel and I worked together closely at EC and I will always remember his great dedication to his students; how caring and supportive he always was with them (and how much fun it was to work with him). The impact of his way too short a lifetime is spread around the globe. May you find comfort in the wonderful memories you had together.

Miss you so. You were an awesome friend and roommate. The relatively short time we spent together somehow encompasses a bigger time frame. The places that i still hike to swim at or whatever are enjoyed by me and my son. Love, Rhett
