I was a classmate with Dan at Ressi. Dan was always smiling. I have just learned of his passing. I watched the video dedicated to his life. He had such a full life. I will keep thoughts of him in my prayers.

I went to grade school with Dan at Resurrection. Even at a young age, although quite, Danny was always up beat and optimistic. He always has a kind word, that impish smile and that genuine twinkle in his eyes. Whenever he would come back to Brookline and I had the chance to talk with him, I always felt uplifted - better. He touched so many people's lives. May God welcome Danny with opened arms and wrap all who will miss him in His tender loving care. God bless.

I lived with Dan for one year in the West Wayne House at Villanova with 8 other friends. Danny was such a great guy....always in a great mood, wonderful laugh and an all around wonderful person. He was liked by everyone.....the Church is so lucky to have had him share his gifts ....I have all of the Whalen family in my prayers....

Deepest sympathy to the family. So sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Dan was a great comfort to our family when he officiated at
my mother's funeral and it was so nice to have someone we grew up with at our time of loss. Donaldson Drive has lost a good
one.

Father Tim and family, so sorry for your loss. Life on this earth is short, but Father Dan being in heaven with Jesus is for eternity.
We did not know your brother, but we know he devoted his life to the love of God.
Thank you Father Dan.

Father Dan was known as "Uncle Dan" in our family since he was godfather to our daughter, Christina Noel Fagella. I will always remember fondly his great laugh and the positive attitude that he always had. So many good memories of Dan and his family. My most sincere condolences to his family.

I went to a mass Father Dan was presiding over after a very long absence from the church. I could tell how much he enjoyed saying the mass.... . and his homily was inspiring. I left feeling wonderful And it resulted in me rejoining the church. But I hadn't even been a member yet when my father passed away at home. We couldn't reach anyone to come and pray with us.... until I called Father Dan. He was there within 30 minutes and said prayers w the family and friends at the house. You have no idea what that meant to all of us. I will never forget Father Dan and how he has impacted my life. I am thankful that I knew such a wonderful priest and person. My thoughts and prayers to all his family.

Father Dan will be truly missed. We had the pleasure of living across the street from Father Dan at Holy Spirit Parish for several years. He was always so friendly and always had a smile on his face. He would always wave and say God Bless when we would see him. Heaven gained an angel on the Feast of All Saints. I know he his now at peace and resting in the arms of our Father.

Deepest Sympathy
