Daniel Zanella

ZANELLA, Daniel (1929 - 2008) Passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital with his wife, Liz and son, Peter, at his side. Daniel led a rich and varied life, filled with humour. He was an artist, poet, stonemason, carpenter, and self-taught engineering and architectural designer. He is predeceased by his first wife Ileana, and by his beloved son Dino. He is survived by his wife Liz Javor, his son Peter (Cathy) and his cherished grandchildren Sarah, Christopher, and Jennifer. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time. We'd also like to thank our close friend Attilio deBernardo, for his love, care, and patience during Daniel's final days. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of the Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road at Roosevelt, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will take place at St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church, 3891 Richmond Road, Nepean, on Friday at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
