Great Strides time again! Danielle's sister, Dawn, designed Club CF shirts that say "Never Give Up." That's what we're doing. We're remembering Danielle and not giving up. Still fanning that flame, Danielle.

Your team, Club CF, continues to work toward your goal, Danielle. You started it. We continue it in your memory. Working toward that cure!

For Great Strides, your Club CF team came together once again to honor you, to remember you, and to stride and strive in your memory toward your goal. We will continue what you started, Danielle, and pray for a cure to be found soon. We miss you.

As we work on the upcoming annual Great Strides Walk for a cure for Cystic Fibrosis, we can't help but be moved and motivated to honor Danielle's memory this way. A cure is something she worked for and wanted to see happen in her lifetime. We'll never forget you, Danielle, and we'll continue to fan your flame. Love you much!

I met Danielle through a CF chatroom in the spring of 2002 and I must say I have been blessed to have known such a wonderful and strong young woman. Even though we have never met, she was an inspiration and always will be. I miss you Danielle! Many condolences to the Penrod family.

For one moment, you get this amazing gift, and you want to laugh and you want to cry because you feel so lucky that you found it, yet so scared that it will go away all at the same time...I miss you more each day, not a night goes by that I haven't cried, and baby here's the truth, I'm still in love with you...

From time to time I have regrets

For all the things I didn't say

That were on my list

From time to time my memory slips

But you're the one thing in my life

I won't forget

I think of you from time to time

And all the time in between

I Love You, Baby...

Even though Danielle and I only had the chance to spend time together once, she made such a lasting impression. I will never forget her sense of humor and her ability to start a conversation with a complete stranger. Her smile and her beautiful strength will be sadly missed. I have faith that she has finally found the peace she so greatly deserved.

I have just heard the sad new about Danielle and just had to let you know how sorry I am about her lost. Having lost both Jennifer and Eileen to Cystic Fibrosis I know there are no words that can make you feel better. The hurt just continues but I wanted you to know how sorry I am and that I always loved Danielle as did Jennifer and Eileen and I'm sure that they were at the gate for her and that they are all looking day upon us everyday wishing us well and looking over us. So when it seems that Danielle is not here remember she is and ask her for guidance as it is not everyone that God chooses to raise His Angels. God Bless all of you and Danielle will be remembered in my prayers but it is because I will be asking her to pray for me.

My sincere heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Danielle. We have lost another one too soon to cystic fibrosis. Take comfort in knowing she is now another Guardian Angel. We lost both Jennifer and Eileen, who were friends with Danielle, over the past five years. I can clearly see them in Heaven without any suffering and breathing freely. My thoughts and prayers are with Danielle's family at this very difficult time.

My deepest sympathies go out to Danielle's family. I knew Danielle through her wonderful mother Mary Ann. It is well over 10 years that while at work we would cry and pray together when Danielle was going though a tough time.

Danielle is perfectly healed now and has no more pain. I will continue to keep Mary Ann and family in my prayers that our Lord will heal the pain and sorrow of your great loss.

I'm a friend of Danielle. When we first met, the thing that stood out most, wasn't piercings or the shocking blond hair. Her sense of humor and bright smile made her stand out.I learned a great lesson from her, never take your health for granted and make the most of your life.Danielle, lived more than most of us in her 30 short years.I will miss her very much.I know she suffered for the past few years. The only thing that gives me comfort, is knowing her pain and suffering is over.I know she is in heaven with all her loved ones she missed.

My deepest sympathies.

Danielle is a recent addition in my life and although our time getting to know each other was short, she will forever have an impression on my life. And not just her jokes and laughter will remain in my memory, but also her collection of t-shirts. Those left behind usually have the hardest time, but we are also the ones that will ensure her presence remains forever.

One of the most beautiful people on earth has left us. I loved this young woman since the first time I met her s a patient at CHP. My great sorrow is that I lost touch with her, I will think of her always and I will miss her forever. She was an extra special human being who did so much for others. She had an unflagging sense of humor and a heart as big as the moon. I know she is enjoying great health and happiness in heaven.

I'd never met Danielle in person but feel that I knew her very well as described by her loving and proud aunt, my dear friend, Peg Conwell. I've followed Danielle and her brave battle and amazing undertakings since she was just 13 years old. Throughout the years, she has been in my thoughts and prayers and I've admired her work with CF and her dedicated family. She was truly an angel on earth and now in heaven where she is celebrating, without doubt, the incredible accomplishments of her young but impactual and productive life. My heartfelt sympathies to the entire family. She will never be forgotten.
