Danny Beaman

Danny Doyle Beaman passed away from this life on January 2, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Detroit, MI, on September 3,1938, where he lived and worked until joining the Air Force in 1961. After 26 years of service, he retired from the Air Force and promptly passed the real estate boards. For more than 20 years he was an active member of the realtor association in Columbus, MS. Throughout his life and many travels, Danny was an active member of the Body of Christ. During his time in Columbus, he was proud to worship with the 7th Street Church of Christ. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Euin and Helen Beaman, and his wife, Melba Jean Beaman. He is survived by his twin brother Lanny (Kitti) Beaman of Detroit, MI, his two daughters, Kimberly (Rick) Overberg and Sheri (John) Kiernan, Melba's children, Ramona (Alan) Plyman, Eddie (Dawn) Perry, Pam Perry, Chris Perry, and his grandchildren, Erik Overberg, Rachel & Jack Kiernan, Lyndsey & Taylor Plymon, Kailee and Kalani Perry, Ruby Marchy, and Wyatt Perry. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Gunter & Peel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7th Street Church of Christ at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 6, 2012. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Pallbearers will be the Columbus Air Force Base Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Overberg, John Kiernan, John Tanksley, and Elders of 7th Street Church of Christ.
