**Danny Lee Clinkscale Sr**
**1952-2024**
"Big Dan"

Danny Lee Clinkscale Sr, affectionately known as "Big Dan," passed away on April 10, 2024, in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 71. He was born on May 21, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Big Dan was a handsome, funny, loving, stubborn, giant teddy bear. But also a very smart man. He loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings and bbq's. His love for the game of "Horse Shoes" will forever be remembered. He also had a love and a passion to play his quitar. He was the youngest of the 6 members of the group "The Trumpet of Joy". He will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Bernice Ross; his daughter, Alicia (Clinkscale) Wilson-Gallaher (Matt); his sons, Danny Lee Clinkscale Jr (Victoria) and Christopher James Clinkscale; 10 grandchildren LaVonte',Brittany, Briara, Lemuel, Dalisha, Kayla, Danny 3rd, Chris, Jadon, Chloe; 7 great-grandchildren; his sister, Sherrell Jones; his aunt, Julia Mae Murrell; Special loved ones Lola (Clinkscale) Styles and Deborah Clinkscale; his niece, Stacie; his nephews Eddie and Andre; great-nieces; great-nephews; cousins; and many friends and loved ones.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandfather, Matthew; grandmother, Lillie Bell; father, Nathaniel; brothers, Roderick and Greg.

Danny donated his body to the UC Medical Study Program.

A private memorial service will be held to honor his memory for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Kidney Fund, or the UC Medical Study Program.
