Danny Wayne "Donnie" Edwards

To Everyone who have called,written,or has come by. I just want to say thank you to all of you. My Donnie was a well loved man, a wonderful, husband, father, and papa. He will be missed terribly by us and all who knew him. As for you-his friends- I say thank you. You may not know it, but he thought highly of all of you. He enjoyed working with you, and talking with you, and spending time with you even if it was for just a brief moment. I hope he touched your hearts-- and you have touched mine and our children by your kindness.
Donnie will be forever in our hearts and knowing we will be together again some day is a great comfort...he is with the Lord. So for my children, grandchildren and myself...God bless you all for your friendship to such a wonderful man. And I proudly say...

Some folks you meet in life leave an impression that is not easily forgotten. Donnie was one of those to me. I always appreciated that familiar grin he always seemed to have when I walked into his office. He always seemed to see life from a perspective that just didn't allow temporal things to take a priority over things that were eternal. May God reach down to each one of you and allow you to feel His reassuring love as you grieve the loss of a dear husband, dad and brother.

Donnie will be missed. He was a joy to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time of loss.

I'm truley sorry for your loss of Donnie,he was good man, I never heard him say a bad word about
anyone,Quiet,reserved and always enjoyed a good laugh...He will be missed in this industry,and I'm sure much more at home. My Prayers are with you.

My sincere condolences to the family. I only knew Donnie for a short while when I was working in Greensboro, and he was extremely kind and helpful. I was sad to hear the news of his passing, and know he will be missed by many. It was a pleasure to have known him even if for just a brief time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Donnie for a number of years in Greensboro Terminal. Always a pleasure to be with. A true friend.

I had the priveledge of knowing and occasionally working with Donnie for the past 11 years. He was truly a man of integrity. He obviously loved his family and was proud of his work. Of the many people I have worked with, I always enjoyed spending time with him and watching him laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
