Danny Ray Hacker

Danny Ray Hacker, 59, of Tom Town Hollow, Corbin, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 at his home.The son of the late Walker and Eva Bowling Hacker, he was born Sept. 26, 1948, in Laurel County.He was a coal miner and a member of Providence Baptist Church in London.Besides his parents, preceding him in death was his brother Lloyd Hacker.Surviving are his son Paul Hacker, of Indianapolis, Ind.; his daughter Rita Hacker, of Indianapolis, Ind.; his brother Jerry Hacker, of Robinson, Texas; two sisters Emma Young and Connie Hensley, both of Bowling Green; and two grandchildren Nicholas Hacker and Shyanne Hacker, both of Indianapolis, Ind.Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sept. 13 at London Funeral Home’s chapel with Johnny Shell officiating. Burial followed at Laurel River Cemetery, London.Pallbearers were Eddie Gregory, Mike Hacker, Mark Hacker, Virgil Grubb, Mike Hinkle and Johnny Dean Wolfe.
