Danny Ikard

Danny was born on August 17, 1956 and passed away in November 2018. Danny was a resident of North Carolina at the time of passing. He attended the Statesville City Schools and was once employed by Basset Furniture Company and Thonet Furniture Company. He leaves to cherish the memory of his life in addition to his wife, Margaret of the home; four sons, Demond Norman of Hickory, Raymond Ramseur, Alonzo Parker and Danny (Nina) Ikard, all of Statesville; three children, Shanika Parker of Hickory, Nakita Ikard and Khani Ikard, both of Hickory; three brothers, Anthony (Charlene) Ikard, Kevin Turner and Sedric Turner, all of Statesville; one sister, Belinda (Billy) Clark of Statesville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tim (Candy) Parker of HIckory, Hope (Chris) Gillespie, Carol (Bernard) Jamison, Michelle (John) Byard, and Clifford (Nancy) Daye, all of Statesville, Fred (Tiny) Daye of Winston-Salem and James (Eva) Daye of Cooleemee; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Thursday, November 14, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home.
