Danny was very confident and could make complicated subjects easy to understand. He had a gift for showing how things could be done by anybody. He supported the view that there is often more than one way to do something the right way. God Bless You Danny, I'm thankful I learned from you, and wish I had met you.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of Danny Proulx. He was my favorite teacher in the woodworking courses at Algonquin because he made everything fun and easy to learn. His friendly nature helped me rid my fear of math, although I still have troubles which he used to joke me about. I would always recommend him when asked which woodworking course to take - it will be difficult to replace him. My sincerest condolocenses to his family & friends.

Danny was the rarest of people. Someone who was incredibly knowledgeable and expert in his field, who at the same time was tremendously humble and polite in all of his interactions. I enjoyed working with Danny over the years as editor of CabinetMaker magazine, but I even more enjoyed our friendly interchanges about the trials and tribulations of small woodworking businesses. His responses were always insightful and down to earth. My profound condolences to his family. Danny's passing is a tragic loss to the entire woodworking community.

To the family and friends of Danny:
It is with great sadness that we come here today to share in our loss of a great contributor to the woodworking industry that he loved so dear. We are comforted to know that he has left his mark and the world truly is a better place because of his contributions. During these tough times, it is hard to come to grips with the hard facts of life that each of us must face. Please let us share your burden in this time of need. We pray that the lord bless you and keep you, may his grace shine upon each of you, and that we all celebrate in the memories of a great man. Here’s to you Danny, you’ll truly be missed.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I will be keeping your family in my prayers. Mr. Proulx books have been an tremendous help to me in restarting my cabinet business after I lost my job earlier this year due to a change in administration in our state government.
Having worked as a state consultant; I have referenced and recommended his books many times, and now they are helping me support my family and home through their ideas, assistance, guidance, and encouragement. Hello,
I wish to pass along my sincere condolances and all my prayers to you today. To loose a great man in a family is very hard, for us all to loose a great soul is equally hard. I believe that Danny changed many people, he taught, listened and helped so many. If his legacy is anything it's that he cared passionatly about what he did and the people he met and helped, I know no stronger impact a man can make than that...God Bless him, God Bless your family,
Peace,

My condolences to Gale and all of Danny's family. I just finished my first kitchen job and Danny walked me through the entire process. I left a hidden note dedicating the kitchen to Danny's memory. I really enjoyed installing a kitchen with Danny just a couple of weeks ago; I'm glad I had that opportunity. I will miss him.
