To Donnie & Merrit ,My heart felt sympathies to you and your families. Tex was a special and unique Human Being. I had the priveledge to know Tex on an intimate level. The book of memories in our hearts and minds are for those to envy. I am sorry for our disconnect---but time and space have separated our physical beings---but never our spirits. God bless and keep you all. Slante' Haze

To Merrit and Donald
Tex and I shared many years and many memories will stay with me, always.
"He" spoke straight from the heart, no matter the consequences, I was honored to be among his friends.

Donnie, Merritt and families,
Words are not enough to ease your loss. We only can remember the good times we all had with Tex and the great adventures she led you all into. She was a legend all her own, but she was ours!!
Love to all.

I knew her as Lois , when I was a teenager she gave me my first bareback lesson. She was a expert horsewoman and a gentle soul.
My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
