Danuta, beloved wife of Jan Mraz of Calgary, AB, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2017 at the age of 63 years. Born in Jelenia Góra, Poland on December 9th 1953, Danuta (Dana) is survived by her husband Jan; son Michael; daughter Mary-Ann (Michael Roth); brother Marek Prucnal his children Agnieszka (Grzegorz Soból) and Grzegorz Prucnal (Monika); her mother Stanislawa Prucnal. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 p.m to 8:30 p.m, then and again on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m at Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W. T2N 3Z3), Calgary, Alberta. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W.) on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Catholic Church (2111 Uxbridge Drive N.W.). In loving memory of Danuta Mraz, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park .

Dear Jan:
I am Dr Chuck Galambos and have been working with Dana for over twenty years. She is a very important part of my success and very integral part of my office even though I work in Lethbridge. She and I agreed that when she retired I would stop making dentures. That's how much confidence I had in her work. She always make me look good in front of my patients because her work was exceptional. Her death has all of us at my office upset because she was part of our team. I will miss her kind sweet voice on the phone. We worked so well together. We had a rapport that isn't often experienced.

Dear Jan, Michael, Mary-Ann and Pani Stanislawa and Pan Marek! Words can not express sadness in our heart as we found out of Danusia's sudden passing. Our thoughts, prayers are with you and our heartfelt condolences. We have so many memories of Danusia, her smile, sincere conversations, celebrations together and just dinner at Ela and Miro house. She was an amazing woman, and always there for her friends. We will miss her immensely. We send prayers, hugs and love in this difficult time for you all.
