My deepest condolences to the family, Darcel was always the person I could count on at UM Dearborn, whether it was in the old engineering building or the former EPD building, or the AB. His smile was always contageous . He would walk around on his break with a cup of coffee, I would see him walking outside always chatting with everyone. Every once in awhile I could hear him singing or whistling. Even though I have been retired since May 2015 I always will remember his willingness to help me and just stop in the office to say hello.

Darcel is one of the most creative and talented people that I have known. We shared a musical journey many years ago that was a very inspiring and wondrous time in our band or musical collective.
Thanx For The Memories. Your earthly assignment is complete.
