Mom and Dad went to the blessing of the cemetary today on the feast of "ALL SAINTS". It is the second year that we have done this and it looks like it will be a yearly ritual.

Dustin put up a schedule of LSU and the Saints and he marks the scores.

Your Saints are 6-0 and are going for number 7 against the "Dirty Bird Falcons" tomorrow night.

We might need a little help; so do what you can.

your maw maw Ruby is comeing to see u and I know she is at peace with the Lord as well as u are, Show Maw maw Ruby the way of happniess and keep looking down at ur family that is growing each and every day.. Well we have started baseball practice and I am starting to miss you already. I don't know how I am going to handle that first tourney without you. No one to play those jokes on me or whisper those silly jokes in my ears. I never thought missing you would be this hard. But girl I know that you are looking over us. Your boys, mom, dady, husband, family and friends alike. Just talked to your mom yesterday and Bryson is walking up a storm. I know you know that already. I miss you Darcy and I know your angel will be with us every game for each team. I miss you Darcy you will forever be my best friend and sister. Darcy, I guess this is the only other way we can talk to u besides prayers, Today is Bryson's 1 yr birthday it was like yesterday I was at the hospital looking at that brown hair child that look so much like you and still does.. I know that u see ur family in your own way but just know that we will never forget u, and your brother still talks about u like u r still with us, oh how I wish..I hear the hurt in his voice everytime he speaks of you but ur babies r his life now..It's ur birthday soon as well and that will be a sad day for the ones you left behind that loved u dearly but one thing for sure that day will be all about you in our hearts. It has been a little over a month and I miss you so much girl. I miss the crazy text messages that you use to send me and all the jokes. So many times I have wanted to just pick up the phone and call you about something. Only to realize that I can't. I know that your spirit is still here and I just wish I could still talk to you. Your jokes and laughter are still constant memories that I have not let go of yet and want let go. I miss you girl. You were my sister :) I don't ask why anymore, but it is so hard not too. I just know that it is God's will. Miss you Girl!

I only met Darcy once at Lesha's bridal shower, though I really didn't know her. (I am an old friend of Lesha's) I was sad and shocked when I heard the news of her passing. I know what it is like to lose someone you love and someone so young. I have lost many loved ones and the pain never really goes away, but time eases it. I feel for each of you as a mother, a father, a husband, a brother, a sister, a child and all other family and friends who loved her. As we all grieve at different levels. She is now resting with God the Father, where she will be watching over you all, especially her boys. She will live on in your hearts and memories forever. Michael,Mom and Dad, I am so sorry for ur loss with Darcy. Even with me being in the family for 3yrs I became close with the boys and ur family. Rob was so excited to be Bryson Godfather that he smiled all the time esp with every picture he took with the kids, I know we will be in the boys life as much as we can esp in sports..Rob was looking forward to shareing their life in sports and helping out with taking them for a long weekend in Kenner to give his sister a break from those boys.I know in my heart Rob as well as myself will do as much as we can to help out. Darcy and I would wave to each other every morning when bringing our kids to school and would also pass each other on the street when she was brining Bryson to the nursery. Over the last several years when she served on the Chanel Board with me and we became close friend. When we would see each other at school she would always show me recent pictures of Bryson and she would say I finally have a child that looks like me. She was always helping out at school and she will be truly missed. Just remember God does not give us more than we can handle. Darcy was truly a wonderful person. I got to know her through SPC since our oldest boys are the same age. Darcy's mission in life was to be the best daughter, wife and mother she could be and she did it with such zest. She was always so vibrant and full of life.
She was always there to lend a hand. I can still remember her going home on Friday night of the Spring Festival to bake cookies after she had cooked all day at the canning center.
As I looked through my list of homeroom parents on Monday, there were Darcy's forms. She was always willing to help out. If there is ever anything I can do to help you please do not hesitate to ask. I know Darcy would have offered the same.

To Darcy's family: I am truly sorry for your loss. I had just talked to Darcy at Chanel's open house in Dawson's class. She talked about how much fun she had this summer with Mason and ball! She talked about saving baby food jars for the PreK class, as am I. And we shared our baby stories of our two little ones. I still can't believe how many teeth she said Bryson has!!! She will be so truly missed by so many people. Please know that my girls and I pray for Darcy's family and children every night!
