Darien Corbett, born on July 18, 1994, in Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 29. He was a beloved resident of Garfield, Georgia, and touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Darien's love for his children and family was immeasurable. His presence in any room was enough to bring a smile to everyone's face, leaving behind a warm and lasting impression. Darien had a contagious laugh that could brighten the darkest of days. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones and would want us to remember him not as gone, but as embarking on a new journey.
Professionally, Darien worked as a field service technician, dedicating his skills to paper mills across the country. His work involved the intricate tasks of fixing or replacing gearboxes, gears, motors, and conducting oil change outs. He was a valued member of the Regal Rexnord family.
Darien's impact on those around him was immeasurable, and his memory will be cherished beyond words and missed beyond measures.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Serenity Brooks Corbett, Kallie Brooks Corbett, and Demi Brooks Corbett; father and step-mother Wendell Brooks Corbett and Tiffany Corbett; mother and step-father, Shanon Marie Wood and Brian Morgan Wood; sisters, Felicia Higginbotham and Emily Higginbotham; grandparents, Paul and Kitty Corbett, and Cynthia Newell; the mother of his children, Koda Crawford; numerous friends also surive
A Celebration of Life and Visitation in honor of Darien will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude at the chapel, where friends and family can come together to celebrate the life of a man who brought joy and love to all who knew him.
