Darius Vontrel Norman

A student at Diesel Driving Academy and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, he died at 9 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center after a lengthy battle with a recurring illness. He was 26. Visiting at Greater New Galilee Baptist Church on Monday, May 16, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Norman. He is survived by a special friend, Coral Clark; mother, Ethal Jean Norman; daughter, Chloe Norman; sons, Drevion and Couren Norman; sisters, Terrica and husband Bennie Mitchell, Kirby Matthews and Aiesha Marshall; brothers, Terry Jones and Terry Hills Jr.; aunts, Leslie and Sarah Norman, and Shameka Chambers; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Hills Sr. Pallbearers will be Demetric Anderson, Shedrick Norman, Jermaine Ridley, JeMario Norman, JaWayne Doyle, Reginald Hunter, Jermaine White and Albert Curry.
