Darlene Haun

so glad to receive the email notice of the 5th passing of Darlene. knew her while in the service. we attended church and numerous church functions together. there will never be a sweeter, kinder soul than Darlene Haun (as i knew her). shed a tear this morning just remembering that radiant smile.

how sorry I am to learn just today of Darlene's death. I am an old friend from the 60's. I never met a nicer person nor had a better friend.

I feel your grief and offer my sympathy because I know what a special person she was. I cared for Mrs. Haun during her illness. It was a delight for me to enter her room and see her bright smile. Through our interactions and conversations we formed a bond. It is an honor to have served such an Angel.

Sweet Friend, how I will miss you. We shared many years of friendship, lots of prayers & quite a few political discussions. You kept me on my toes playing Words With Friends in the early morning hours??. Special memories, a few tears & lots of laughter. Until we meet again in our heavenly home, know that I am thankful that you were a part of my life.

I am sorry for your loss, and thought a lot of Darlene. Your family has been in our thoughts and prayers.

and you boys so I am well aware of how
she loved all her family. We shared the same street growing up and we have stayed friends for all these years.
The most powerful thing about Darlene, to me, was
gift of laughter. She could make you smile and was never at a loss for words. She was always cheerful and happy to everyone she met. We spent a lot of time together during J.T.'s High School days. She was a dedicated mother for sure. She will be thought of and missed by everyone's life she touched. And I will surely miss her recipes via email.

Your mom, sister, friend, Dee Dee, etc. was an AWESOME lady. I only knew her for a short time but she shared her words of wisdom with me. WOW she was loved by so many people. You are in my thought and prayers.

My heart goes out to the Haun family. Went to school with Darlene and have been happy to call her my friend for all these years. She will be missed by so many of us who have been fortunate enough to be her friend since we were all in school. together. I treasure the laughter she brought to our friendship ! Her family was spoken about often and I could certainly feel the love and admiration she had for her boys and all the grand kids.

She is an angel with Jesus now, and in no more struggle or pain. I know that you will miss her so terribly, but remember her spirit will be with you always. Wow! What do you say about a sweet friend who gave so much and ask for so little in return? Darlene and I have been friends forever, beginning our friendship in Girl Scouts. She lived on "the other side of town" but when we begin junior high, our friendship had a chance to flourish. Unfortunately, as her friend, some things can never be shared. There were many "pinkie swears" and I will never break any of them!

Darlene was a member of the Reunion Committee, KHS Class of 65. We met with such anticipation of planning the best reunions ever. Thank you, Sweet Friend for all of the help throughout the years. Darlene, we will miss you as we begin to plan the Big 50! You will have a place reserved for you at the table! May the good Lord bless her family and provide wonderful memories of this very special lady. I feel blessed to have had her in my life!
