Darlene Ann Ryan
Darlene Ann Ryan Heinl, age 73, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014. Darlene spent much of her life in the Toledo and Hilliard areas of Ohio, but also enjoyed a number of years in Hillsdale, MI.
She is survived by her three children, Kristen (Charles) McHenry, Amy Heinl, and Anthony (Nadessja) Heinl; her three grandchildren, Tyler (Haley), Erynn, and Lauren McHenry; as well as many loving friends.
Darlene was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School where she was a talented majorette, then continued her education at the University of Toledo (Chi Omega). She worked for and retired as a Lab Technician, from The Toledo Hospital. Additionally, the Toledo Opera, PBS, Public Libraries, the RNC, and the Capital Area Humane Society were some of many organizations she passionately volunteered for throughout her lifetime.
In keeping with Darlene's wishes, her memorial service (celebration of life), and final resting place will be in Ireland. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made in her name to the Capital Area Humane Society of Hilliard, Ohio. Arrangements with Tidd Family Funeral Home in Hilliard, OH.

I was a classmate of Darlene's both at DHS and at the University of Toledo. I enjoyed knowing Datlene and being her friend.She was a very talented gal, with a great sense of humor. I am glad I had the opportunity to know Darlene. My condolences to the family.
