Theodore Dice

Dice, Theodore E.; age 93; passed away peacefully on July 2, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH surrounded by his children. He was born on December 25, 1921 in Hillman, MI, the son of the late William and Florence (LaFave) Dice. Theodore was a veteran serving our country in the U.S. Army during W.W.II as a mortar gunner. He married Cleona Brand on October 13, 1942 in Alpena. After the army Ted worked for Nankin Appliance and retired from Ford Motor. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and was an outdoorsman. Theodore will be remembered for his natural born mechanical ability and all of his amazing and fun projects. Theodore was a member of the local VFW. Ted is survived by his children Dave Dice and Daniece (Tim) Anthony; 5 grandchildren, Stacie M. Dice, Michael (Stephanie) Legg, Jeremy Legg, Becky Legg, Bobby Coburn; great-grandchildren, Samantha (Joseph) Coburn; and his sister Florence Dice. Preceding Ted in death was his wife, Cleona; his sons, Richard Dice and Darrel Dice; and his 11 siblings. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 11:00 am prior to the service. Burial will be at Westwood Cemetery with full military honors from the Kalkaska VFW Post 8684. Memorials can be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090.
