Darrell Eugene May, born on March 25th, 1957, died on January 1st, 2016. He was preceded in death by his late wife, Chrys, whom he adored.
In his early years, Darrell attended Redwood High School, class of '75, in Visalia, California. He was a member of the NJROTC. The Navy was his calling as he enlisted as soon as he was able. He served as a Petty Officer in the Navy from 1974-1978. He was stationed in places such as Norfolk, Virginia and Naples, Italy, as a mechanic for military machinery. Darrell was proud to have served our country with his fellow servicemen. Darrell had a great love for his family and friends, and believed in protecting the American way and defending our liberties.
Darrell is survived by his three children, Darrell Jr., Christopher, and Jessica; and his grandson, Dylan. Along with his 5 siblings, Curtis, Meridith, David, Denise, and Raylene, and other extended family members; Darrell will be missed by us all.
Funeral with Honor Guard services will be held at the Miramar National Verterans Cemetary in San Diego, California on January 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm, where he will rest in peace with his fellow servicemen and veterans.
