I worked closely with Darrell for several years and appreciated his dedication and loyalty, especially to his son. He was a model employee and a friend.

My condolences go out to Dan and your family. Darrell lived across the street from me and always helped me and Dan out with baseball in the street. He was a great father and would do anything for Dan, my family and I are going to miss you.

My deepest condolences to the Pace Family. I will always remember Darrell as a fine man who always had a good word for all. He also had one heck of a jumpshot. It was an honor to have known him and be able to call him my friend. God Bless DP.

I had the privelege of helping Darrell in the local youth baseball and basketball leagues and he was all about the kids. If a kid asked for some extra coaching tips to work on his pitching motion, Darrell would never say no. He set the proper example for sportsmanship and the true spirit of volunteerism. He will be missed. My sympathies to Danny and Darrell's family.

My condolences to the Pace family. He is in a better place now.

I played softball with Darrell when he first came to the area and then had dealings with him thru my employment at USS. He will be missed by many.

Darrell was not only an excellent co-worker, but was a very close friend of the family. He loved sports of any kind, so much in fact that he even became an avid girls volleyball fanatic, (even though it took him a bit to learn the rules), and was denoted "Superfan" by my Daughter.

He was always in the pusuit of excellence and more than willing to help out a fellow worker or friend, no matter what it required on his part. He was a kind individual and will be remembered for his warmth by all of us that knew him and/or worked with him.

We'll see you D. Thanks for the opportunity to know you.

My condolences go out to Dan and the rest of the family. I had the opportunity to live across the alley from Dee in Crown Point. He was a great man to know and become friends with. No matter his struggles, he was always wanted to do things for others. On behalf of my entire family, I would like to say that we are thankful for being able to call him our friend. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Danny and Connie. I have always thought that Darrell was the funniest and kindest man. He never failed to make me laugh. Even back in the fall, when he wasn't feeling up to par, he called me one day, totally out of the blue just to say Hi. He will be missed but never forgotten. It was a pleasure meeting him and becoming his friend. Judy

My condolences go out to Dan and the rest of the family. At this mournful time I am reminded of all the great times I had with Mr. Pace during Pups baseketball. He was a great guy and a great coach in that he always seemed to strive to make his players more than just better at basketball.

Darrell was strong and loving through his last days with us. He kept a strong faith in the Lord and a firm commitment to his familiy.

I am a better man for knowing him and I will celebrate his spirit in Heaven.
