Darrell Eugene Robinson Sr. was born September 22, 1952, in East Chicago, Indiana to Donald Robinson and Jerroline Johnson. Darrell attended Carver Elementary School and is a graduate of Tolleston High School. On August 17, 1979, Darrell married the love of this life and Bride of 46 years Betty Jeanette Klyce. To this union four children came about, Darrell Jr., Laquan, Theresa and Domonique. Darrell served for six months in the Marine Corp. He was employed with RR Railroad in Hammond Indiana as a Trackmen and a Welder from 1974 until retirement in 2007.

Darell departed this life on September 18,2025 peacefully in his home with his loving and devoted wife by his side.

Darrell is preceded in death by his Father Donald Robinson and Mother Jerroline Johnson, Sisters Delphine Easterling and Treva Johnson, Brother Terry Johnson and both Sons Darrell Jr. and Laquana Robinson.

Darell leaves to cherish his memory his loving Wife Betty Jeanette Robinson of Gary, Indiana, his two Daughters, Theresa Monique (Maurice) Robinson-Mann of Indianapolis, Indiana and Domonique Robinson of Gary, Indiana. Three Sisters Lydia Johnson, Sharmine Johnson, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Valerie Johnson of Gary, Indiana. Nine Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren, Five loving Sister In-Laws, Two Brother In-laws and a host of loving Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

All Services Saturday October 4,2025. Wake 11:00a.m. Funeral 1:00p.m. at Christian Valley Missionary Baptist Church 1910 Adams St. Gary,In.
