Mr. Darrell Junior Sheets

Darrell Sheets, 53 of Marmet went home to be with the Lord and Savior November 19, 2010 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. Darrell loved and cherished his family but most importantly was a Christian and loved the Lord. He was a member and lay leader of the Hernshaw United Methodist Church. He worked in the Timber Industry for over 30 years. He was a lover of music and was blessed with God given talent for playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Sheets; grandmother, Nannie Bailey; Mother-in-law, Elizabeth Mitchell. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Sheets of Marmet; mother, Addalee Sheets of Sabine; sister, Nelda (James) Baugh of Sabine; father-in-law, Kenneth Mitchell Sr. of Hernshaw; special nephew, Shawn Sheets of Sabine; special cousin, Terry Bailey of Stickney; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam & Richard Burkhart of Hernshaw, Doug & Virginia Snodgrass of Elkhart, Indiana, David & Teresa Snodgrass of Standard and Dana & Lisa Snodgrass of Chesapeake; nieces & nephews, Janell, Jeremy, Joy, Jason, Jeffrey, Jodie; great nieces & nephews, Hailey, Jake, Hallie, Noah, Jonah, Wyatt, Jadyn; many aunts and uncles, family and friends. A service to celebrate the life of Darrell Sheets will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with the Rev. Jeremy Snodgrass officiating. Burial will follow at Marmet Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends may call Monday, November 22 from 5 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
