Our deepest sympathy to you all. I worked with Darryl many years ago as did my father, Chief Harold C Jennings. I remember Darryl as very capable, smart, and with a sense of fun and adventure. We hope you find comfort in many warm memories. God bless you all.Sincerely, The Jennings family. Kathleen Jennings

Darrell was our next door neighbor and always on his front porch ready to chat. He and his wife are very sweet with our little girls, who they have been able to see start to grow up.
One of my memories of Darrell that really spoke to who is was, is when the Newtown shooting happened at an Elementary school in Newtown, he sat in his jeep across the street from our local elementary school for the remainder of the school day, ready to protect our little ones from harm's way. As a retired member of the Gville Police Dept, he was still just as committed to keeping watch over our neighborhood.
We will miss Darrell, our girls still look over at our porch and ask for him. He will always be remembered.

Darrell and I had some great times together in high school, most notably the Junior Class play. Darrell stole the show and did not have a single speaking line in the play! Such was Darrell: funny with a great sense of humor and a soft-spoken, easy-going person. May God bless him. Please accept our family's condolences on Darrell's passing.
