Dear Robyn and Dan,
I'm so sorry to read of Darren's passing. He was a kind, understanding, and most cheeky addition to Ponderosa during his time with us. To watch his face light up with love with Sarah's arrival, exhibit the frustration and fatigue of working on regaining more physical independence, and express the joy of not only attending your wedding, but walking for it, was uplifting for us all, co-residents and staff alike.
Thinking of you at this sad time.

Many great memories of Darren to cherish, such as his music blaring out of a Seattle record store in the late 80's, prompting myself to purchase a demo tape from Kamloops, and not immediately knowing the connection.
Our heartfelt condolences to the Hines' families. Rest in peace, Darren

My deepest condolences to his family. I met Darren when I was 16 and to this day I cannot smell Drakkar Noir without thinking of him (it was the 80's). He was a great friend to me and will be missed.

Darren Hines Obituary
Darren Hines died in the presence of three generations of family. Bob Dylan strummed and sang out in Darren's last shallow breaths- from a live recording from 1963- that there comes a time 'to lay down a weary tune'. Darren's song had indeed... Read Darren Hines's Obituary
