I met Darren when we were travelers at UVA. He worked with me two different times and he was amazing at his job in the cardiac OR. He was always so fun, positive, and smiling. He was someone that always tried to find the silver lining, even after a very hard day losing a patient, or after 2 days working without sleep. He will be missed until we see eachother again. Until we meet again...Fly high and be at peace with our Lord.

Your old friend and colleague,

Darren was my neighbor when we were kids. He was a few years older than me, but he was always super nice to me. A few years back were able to become friends on Facebook, and get to talk to each other (as adults), and he was still just as kind to me. I will always remember riding my bike by their house and sneaking to the door every now and again, and Mary Lee would give me one of the best chocolate chip cookies ever. I am sorry for you loss. Praying for your family.

Darren was one of my charge nurses back when I was a new CNA, he was one of the kindest and nicest guys I´ve ever worked with and one of the best nurses I´ve ever worked with! Prayers for his family and friends!
