Darryl Lee Benton

Dearest sweet "twin" cousin Darryl. After all of these years of no contact, a thought popped in my head tonight to Google you. Why tonight specifically were you in my thoughts? I can only believe we have never lost our cousin "connection". I was shocked to read of your passing. I was hoping to see some new adventure you were experiencing in our old age. Born the same month, same year, you being only 20 days my junior we shared the same love of a great fun Hawaii visit, and a cold beer, football and kayaks. I'm so sad for the familys loss, your immediate and our extended. I'm sad we did not meet again. I know we will though, eventually.

A fine life Darryl lived with plenty to be proud of, especially the legacy of his children and grandchildern. He had enough adventure for two lives, and he lived it to the fullest!

Daryl was a brother-in-law and a friend. We had many heart to heart talks and I had great respect for him. He will be missed.
