Darryl John Broussard

Darryl John Broussard was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 4, 1951 to the late Roy Broussard Sr., and Sadie Ford Broussard. He was a 1970 graduate of Lincoln High School. On Tuesday, July 28, 2009 Darryl entered into eternal rest at Memorial Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas. Darryl leaves behind to cherish his loving, funny and crazy memories his wife of 26 years, Alice Marie Broussard of Friendswood, TX; three daughters, Victoria Broussard of Georgetown, TX, Alyshia Broussard of Friendswood, TX, and a step-daughter Dawn Williams of Katy, TX; one sister, Deborah Broussard Jordan (Curtis) of Missouri City, TX; one brother, Wyndell Broussard (Andrea) of Port Arthur, TX; a step-sister, Sherrell Williams (Raymond) of Port Arthur, TX; step-mother, Irma Broussard of Port Arthur, TX; four grandchildren, Jean-Luc Parker of Georgetown, TX, Anilah and Braylin Broussard of Friendswood, TX, and Javon Williams of Katy, TX; four sisters-in-law, Juanita Broussard (late Roy Broussard, Jr.) of Tulsa, OK, Emily Alexander of Port Arthur, TX, Elnora Hernandez of New Orleans, LA and Queenie Polidore of Jeanerette, LA; two aunts, Ruby Cornelius of Port Arthur, TX and Dr. Bobbie Franklin Wells of Princeton, NJ; a special friend, Earlene Jackson ("TeeTee") of Georgetown, TX. Darryl also loved dearly his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of close friends. A memorial services will be held in Darryl's honor and legacy on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. The memorial will take place at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Paul Gasper, Jr.
