Darryl Young Obituary
He leaves behind a loving family: his sister, Vicci Brown of North Carolina; daughter, Erica Young of Columbia; sons, Derrick Young of Columbia and Priceston Banks of Marshall; and stepdaughter, Karaunda McKinney of St. Louis. Darryl was also a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandson, all residing in Missouri. His extended family includes numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Darryl was preceded in death by his son, as well as his father and mother.
A celebration of Darryl's life will be held on July 30, 2024, in Columbia, Missouri, as a small gathering in lieu of a traditional memorial service.
The Heartland Cremation & Burial Society of Columbia, Missouri, is assisting the family during this time.

Uncle Darryl was the sweetest. A real OG. Always smiling, joking and laughing no matter what was going on or what he was going thru. I´m not his biological niece, but he surely did look at me like I was. Never left me out. You´re going to be missed and never forgotten. Rest well Uncle Darryl. Love you always and forever!

Teaching me The Lord's Prayer. He made me say it every night before bed. Even tho I wasn't his biological daughter you couldn't tell him that. He taught me how to ride a bike,spell my name,my address and much more..I will cherish all the memories have with you in my heart. A piece of you is always with me.
