Daryl John Doriety

In humble submission to the Divine will, we announce the passing of Mr. Daryl John Doriety of Sarasota, Florida on February 28, 2024, born on October 14, 1959, in Irvington, New Jersey. Daryl navigated the journey of life with a deep appreciation for the sanctity of all creation, a commitment to family, and a profound love for the harmonies of music and the enchantment of cinema.

Daryl is lovingly remembered by his children, Kimberly Doriety, alongside her partner Matthew and Dara Eckert with her husband, Derek Eckert. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Wyatt and Weston Eckert of Bangor, PA. His memory is also treasured by his brothers, Robert Doriety with his wife Bonnie of Booton, NJ, James Doriety with his wife Jackie of Sparta TN, and Daniel Doriety of Manalapan, NJ. His life touched many, leaving a profound impact on his nieces Robin, Erin, Katherine, Jennifer, Christine, Christiana, Veronica, Hannah, and Jenna, his nephews Robert and James, and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Daryl worked as a corrections officer for many years as well as a security guard for New York Life in Hunterdon County NJ

Daryl's departure leaves us in solemn reflection of the temporal nature of our earthly journey. He now joins his beloved forebearers who have been called home before him: his father Robert Doriety Senior, his mother Ann Doriety, and his brother Kevin Doriety.

We pray that he is now embraced in the loving arms of our Creator, resting eternally in the light of unconditional love.

As we bid farewell to Daryl, we remember him as a cherished tapestry of faith, love, and artistic spirit. May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
