Ojai, CA
Daryl Duane Muth, 75, of Ojai passed away at home with his a family by his side on Tuesday October 11, 2016 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Born in Ventura in 1940 he was a life long resident of Ventura County. He graduated from Fillmore High School. He served and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Grand Forks, North Dakota and Korea.
He had a 34 year career in management in the Oil Business with Di-Chem and Halliburton.
He loved to hunt, to skeet and trap shoot at the Ojai Valley Gun club where he was a member.
He leaves his beloved wife of 56 years Vickie Muth; two sons Jeff (Lee) Muth of Ojai and Darren Muth of Oak View; two nephews Rudy and Eddie Torres who were like sons to him; two brothers Garold (Mandy) Muth of Bakersfield and Kirk (Marylin) Muth of Boise Idaho; 2 grandchildren of whom he was very proud of Christina and Nancine Muth; and 2 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held Friday October 21, 2016 at 1pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura.

Sad to hear about Daryl. My condolence to family
Darlyl was my best friend while in the air force and we were station at Kunsan Korea 1961-1962

I'm so sorry to hear about Daryl's passing. He was a wonderful caring man. I worked with him back in the 80's when Di-Chem was a small shack off the Ventura highway.

Cecilia got it right. Daryl was an honorable, stand up man who with Vickie took so many of us into their hearts and family. Together they combatted the evils of Parkinson's and have served as an example to us all on how to face life's challenges. Love you Muths dearly and know my Mom and Dad will have a Bourbon and water waiting for Daryl's arrival.

I worked with and became friends with Daryl many years ago. Always enjoyed his company and his sense of humor. Great guy. Sorry to see him go. Condolences to his family.

daryl is a great man who will truly be missed my mom use to date eddy for many years and daryl and vicky and there whole family has always welcomed and treated us as if we where there own. i have spent many holidays with eddy at vickys and daryls house. my prays and condolences will be here for the family love Joseph

I didn't know Mr. Muth, but I've known his son, Jeff, for many, many years. Jeff and his Dad were tight! My sincerest condolences to Jeff and the entire family.

My Brother Daryl was part of a family that accepts everyone. He was part of a four generation California oilfield workers that worked in the Ventura County area.
He was a very generous and caring person with everyone he meet.
We all love you very much and will miss you.
