It was such a pleasure getting to know Daryl & Charlotte during the 2017 Pioneer Day Events. I had heard of the family all my life but had not had the pleasure of knowing them. I had known of Charlotte's Family through the Paso Schools Transportation Dept. My sincere condolences are with you all.

Over 20 years ago we settled in Paso. I needed someone to disc the property. I called Wally Box; he said 'the guy you need is Daryl Stinchfield'. Daryl came over looked over the property and said he would disc it. Then he said "What are you doing Saturday"?He said "I'll come pick you up and show you our wonderful city and North County". He shows up in his Model A, and says "Get in the rumble seat". We spent almost 3 hours
on a tour of his beloved Paso and North County. I hope when I meet Daryl again,he'll
tell me to 'hop in' and take me on a grand tour once again. A great guy, will there ever be another?

Just heard from Christopher that Daryl is now with the Lord. As we came out of the theatre in AG on Sunday the Lord brought him to mind, I said to Chris that we should connect with you and Daryl. It looks like we'll see you soon but will have to wait a little while to see Daryl again. Praying for you and the girls.

I knew Daryl for almost 50 years and he was a man who truly showed his love and
concern for you. I could always count on Daryl to do what he said he would do. He
loved to tease and insult you in a loving way. His favorite insult was to call you a
rotten dirty skunk. I had the privilege to have been called that numerous times. During the last twenty three years that I lived in Paso Robles, I attended the Thursday Morning breakfast at the Christian Life Center Church. Daryl cooked the breakfast And did so for probably 35 to 40 yearss. He rarely missed a breakfast. He came to cook breakfast regardless of how he felt. He took his responsibility very seriously. For approximately 18 of the last years, I made the coffee' Even though I arrived at the church around 5:00 , he was always there before me.When Bic Moe was still alive, he also arrived early. I thourghlyenjoyed listening to Daryl and Bic talk about Paso Robles and the surrounding area. Those two guys could tell you anything about Paso Robles. Daryl did not talk about his faith in Christ Jesus often, but he was a true Christian. He knew the Bible and could discuss it easily. During discussions after breakfast, he always had thoughtful comments to make. I will miss Daryl, but I know that when I pass on I will meet him in heaven. Goodby for now old friend, I will always love you. Keith Sinton
