I worked with Dave in Toronto and came to know him as a funny, kind and always positive. Rest in peace Dave, Condolences to his family and friends

I woke up last Thursday morning but with a heavy heart upon hearing that our friend and Hamilton's unofficial "Culinary Ambassador" Dave Hanley, had passed away suddenly.

He was the King of Pop Up Event and I attended every one of his Pop Up Hamilton events that I could.

Through Dave I rediscovered Hamilton and its culinary and cocktail scene. It has an energy and sense of community that is contagious and that is exactly how Dave Hanley was.

My heartfelt condolences to Nicole, Sophia and his many friends and family. He will be missed
