I learned to farm from Dave. His last two years on the farm he had to put up with me. He explained the greatest tractor ever made was the two cylinder John deere diesel. After a search I managed to buy one a few months ago. It reminds me of him, as he stood (never sat) on his mighty steed, put-putting around the field at some ungodly early hour.

Mrs Adams and family: We are very sad to hear of Mr Adams' passing. I never had a real Grandfather, but always considered Mr Adams as mine. He was a loving, kind, compassionate and humorous man who always took the time to make me feel special as a child. I remember the time he tried to make me quit sucking my thumb when I was around the age of five--he used black electrical tape to wrap around my thumb in hopes of averting my bad habit. Although, shortly after he did so, I tore the tape off and promptly placed my thumb back in my mouth. My boys and I will miss Mr Adams and we will cherish his memory in our hearts forever. RIP Mr Adams. We love you!

To Lillian and family, my thoughts are with you as you grieve and try to adjust to the passing of such a great husband/father and grandfather. Dave was a great neighbour with a wonderful sense of humour. He always had a smile (or a joke) and will be greatly missed. Ruth Thompson
